What to include in a caffeine pouch quote request

The information that helps turn a broad inquiry into a usable project quotation.

By Caffeine Oral Pouch Editorial

Buyer question: The information that helps turn a broad inquiry into a usable project quotation.

Make the technical target explicit

State the target country and caffeine per pouch. List all active ingredients and their preferred forms, not only the marketing name of the concept. Explain whether you need a synthetic caffeine route, botanical caffeine pouches or a coffee sensory direction. Include excluded ingredients and any claims you hope to make.

Describe the physical product

Specify the desired pouch size or feel, moisture preference, cooling intensity, flavor family, pouches per can and can model. If you do not have those decisions yet, provide reference preferences and ask for a development recommendation. Avoid treating a visual mockup as a complete manufacturing specification.

Add the commercial and documentation scope

Give cans per SKU, SKU count, total cans, destination and desired launch window. Separate the sample request from production. State whether you need artwork work, third-party tests, market review, COA, origin documents or a particular delivery term. This helps explain why two quotes may differ.

Put these items in your project brief

  • Market, caffeine target and full ingredient brief.
  • Flavor, pouch, can and pack count.
  • Quantities by SKU and complete order.
  • Testing, documents, destination and timing.

A common follow-up question

Should I ask only for the lowest price?

A comparable price needs a comparable specification. Ask what is included, what is quoted separately and which assumptions could change the final cost.
